Meet Jae, a systems engineer on the world’s leading airborne early warning and control aircraft, Boeing’s E-7A Wedgetail.

Based at RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales, Jae has also had the opportunity to be part of the team building Boeing’s space capability in Australia.

“There is something special about designing something that goes into the air or space. I think it’s tied in with a natural curiosity as a humankind that we have developed over the centuries. It’s what makes a child want to be an astronaut, or an engineer, or a rocket scientist,” said Jae.
