Protect yourself from recruitment fraud

Recruitment fraud is a growing problem affecting job seekers across many companies. These fraudulent profiles often impersonate recruiters on platforms like LinkedIn, targeting candidates with fake job offers and requests for money or personal information.

The Boeing Company will not ask for money from job candidates in the hiring process.

Important Reminders:

  • Do not send money to someone who claims to be a recruiter for Boeing.
  • Official Boeing recruiters will always have an email address ending with @boeing.com.
  • Always apply for Boeing jobs only through our official career site: boeing.com/careers.

How to spot recruitment fraud:

  • Requests for money, payments or personal financial information early in the process.
  • Offers asking you to book travel through specific agencies with promises of reimbursement.
  • Profile pictures that look AI-generated or unprofessional.
  • Urgent requests for immediate interviews without a formal application.
  • Requests to communicate via other messaging apps like WhatsApp or Telegram.

What to do if you suspect fraud:

  • Do not send money or share sensitive information.
  • Report suspicious profiles or messages immediately to abuse@boeing.com.
  • Report fraudulent LinkedIn profiles directly to LinkedIn.

Boeing has no responsibility for fraudulent offers and advises candidates to follow the guidance provided above.
