Equipment & Tool Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze and modify aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling that meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Research, develop, evaluate and integrate new technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products.
  • Team with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications.
  • Estimate, plan, manage and execute the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.
  • Create and maintain related documentation for equipment and tooling, develop preventative maintenance plans and train personnel as needed.
  • Develop and implement interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment and tooling.
  • Investigate engineering changes and control equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with company procedures.
  • Develop and recommend equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.

Liaison Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key engineering representatives on the factory floor, contributing to the analysis, root cause investigations, and the development of dispositions for production non-conformances.
  • Responsible for maintaining aircraft compliance to design requirements and providing both emergent and long-term solutions for issues ranging from structural repair to systems troubleshooting.

Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Manage the “build plan”, which includes all the methods, processes, and step-by-step instructions needed to turn engineering drawings and other technical requirements into detail parts, assemblies, and finished aircraft.
  • Support the production system and work with mechanics and quality personnel to address issues.

Numerical Control Programmer

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate machining and automated techniques, manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment to support the design, production and inspection of parts and assemblies.
  • Identify best and most efficient NC, CNC and Robotics Programming approaches.
  • Provide expertise in numerical control, machining, programming to aid Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
  • Resolve manufacturing or production process concerns. Implement new or revised computing applications for design, machining or inspection systems.
