Equipment & Tool Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze and modify aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling that meet stakeholder requirements.
- Research, develop, evaluate and integrate new technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products.
- Team with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications.
- Estimate, plan, manage and execute the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.
- Create and maintain related documentation for equipment and tooling, develop preventative maintenance plans and train personnel as needed.
- Develop and implement interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment and tooling.
- Investigate engineering changes and control equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with company procedures.
- Develop and recommend equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.
