The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join the PAC-3 Program located in Huntsville, AL.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years experience leading  projects and/or teams
  • 3+ years experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
  • 3+ years experience developing and executing strategies to meet organization objectives
  • 3+ years experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
  • 3+ years experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
  • Experience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU) / hourly union-represented workforce.
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

Shift:

This position is for variable shift-Selected candidate may work a 4x10’s or 3x12’s weekend schedule. Schedule determination will occur after hire, but discussed during the hiring process.  

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay range: $102,600 - $125,140
