Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is hiring for Numerical Control Programmers (Mid-level or Senior) to join the Fabrication South Carolina Aerostructures (FSCA) team in Orangeburg, SC. This position will support complex CNC machining operations.

The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, ensure product quality, and collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize fabrication and finishing operations of large scale sheet metal aerostructures.

Our team is currently hiring for a range of experience levels including: Mid-Level, or Senior Numerical Control Programmers – Machine/Tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontline factory support for 737 MAX & 777X Lipskin fabrication

  • Develop and fully support all NC Programming activity for large scale 5-axis machining of lipskins

  • Establish and monitor process controls, KPIs, and SPC for fabrication and machining processes; implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Support production troubleshooting, line startup, and ramp-up activities; provide training and technical guidance to production teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides expertise in numerical control, machining, programming and Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) in support of new and ongoing projects.

  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

  • Plans and guides the development and integration of machining techniques, manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment to support the design, manufacture and inspection of parts and assemblies.

  • Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others.

  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 4 or more years of manufacturing experience in metal fabrication and machining.

  • 4 or more years of experience in Numerical Control (NC) Programming

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 4: 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis tools (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA etc).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range for Mid Level (Level 3): $100,300 – 135,700

Summary Pay Range for Senior Level (Level 4): $120,700 – 163,300
