We are seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join our Information Technology Services Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Team. This is an opportunity for you to be part of a team that procures and manages contracts for various indirect services supporting Boeing IT. You will work from one of the following locations: Mesa, AZ, Englewood, CO, Hazelwood, MO, North Charleston, SC, or Seattle, WA.

You will play a crucial role in the end-to-end procurement process. From engaging with stakeholders early on to developing innovative sourcing strategies, creating compelling Request for Procurements (RFPs), analyzing proposals, skillfully negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless post-award management, you will be at the forefront of driving successful procurement activities, making a significant impact on our operations.

  • Build successful supplier and internal customer relationships

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct source selection Request for Information (RFI), Request for Procurement (RFP), negotiation, price, terms, and contracting activities to meet customer needs, drive innovation, and maintain market leadership

  • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and service management platforms to communicate project progress to management and cross-functional partners, ensuring accurate and detailed purchase order completion

  • Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance

  • Negotiate and establish contracts for goods and services, with a focus on terms and conditions that align with Boeing's strategic objectives and go-to market strategies

  • Manage risks, issues, and opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional partners and driving outcomes associated with procurement strategies

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain, leveraging expertise in specific areas

  • Foster a culture of compliance and protect Boeing's intellectual property assets while capturing business opportunities

  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers to facilitate business development and support existing product lines

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Global Sourcing & Vendor Management, and stakeholders across the enterprise within the team's scope

  • Deliver value with speed and agility through smart and effective negotiations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain management, or contracts

  • 3+ years of experience facilitating/leading and executing project plans

  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)

  • Experience in IT Procurement (preferably IT contracting and negotiation)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with indirect procurement and supply chain processes

  • 5+ years of experience with MS PowerPoint, Teams and Excel for data analysis, presentations, and communication      

  • Experience with SAP Ariba or equivalent procurement systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $74,800 – $108,000
