The Boeing Company’s Military-Connected and Veteran Program organization is currently seeking a Veteran Experience Lead to join their team! Our organization is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 specialists to find the best fit for the position. This role can be based in Hazelwood, MO; Arlington, VA; Everett, WA; Huntsville, AL; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Renton, WA; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; Jacksonville, FL or San Antonio, TX.

This position is responsible for enhancing and advancing the experience of veteran and military-connected employees across the enterprise. As a key member of the Military-Connected and Veteran Program team, this individual will design and implement strategies that support veteran retention, engagement, and career development. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker who can collaborate across departments, advocate for veteran needs, and help embed a culture of inclusion and belonging for those who have served.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and advocate for veteran and military-connected employee experience across the company

  • Develop and execute programs aimed at improving retention of veteran employees, leveraging feedback, data, and best practices

  • Partner with Human Resources (HR), Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Employee Resource Groups (ERG), and business leaders to ensure a seamless, inclusive veteran employee journey

  • Enhance onboarding experiences for veterans to support early engagement, cultural adaptation, and long-term success

  • Lead efforts to create and promote veteran engagement initiatives, events, and recognition opportunities

  • Track, analyze, and report on veteran-related Key Performance Indicators (e.g., retention, engagement, career progression) to inform strategic improvements and share impact

  • Provide insights, guidance, and training to internal stakeholders on veteran-related topics, including culture, transition support, and military skill translation

  • Collaborate with the Veteran ERG (if applicable) to align goals and amplify impact across the organization

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience executing strategies that drive employee engagement and inclusion

  • 5+ years of experience leading by influence, without formal authority

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing data to extract insights for strategic decision-making and planning

  • 3+ years of experience with veteran culture, challenges in transition, and corporate integration strategies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Military experience or connection (e.g., veteran, military spouse, or experience working with veteran populations)

  • Experience in human resources

Pay & Benefits:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Level 4: $93,500 – $158,000

Summary pay range Level 5: $117,300 – $198,000
