Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) to support the movement of parts, processes, related tooling, and/or technical services associated with the reallocation of statement of work responsibilities from one location and/or organization to another. The ideal candidates will have either Work Movement or Project Management experience in Auburn, WA.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Auburn, WA

Position Responsibilities:

  • Represent BGS-C Supply Chain as a Work Movement focal to the enterprise.

  • Lead, as Project Manager, BGS-C initiated work movements as necessary/appropriate.

  • Lead and implement enterprise-initiated Post/Out of Production work movements where BGS-C is the identified To-Be entity.

  • Articulate BGS-C customer needs, aligning to long range business goals, in support of all impacted enterprise work movements

  • Perform parts and tooling statement of work (SOW) development and analysis, in support of enterprise work movements.

  • Collect, organize and provide analytical data according to established processes to maintain compliance.

  • Clarify, validate and communicate SOW with cross-functional business partners.

  • Perform Functional Impact Analysis for BGS-C in support of enterprise work movements.

  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, recommend possible solutions and develops and implement action plans for issue resolution.

  • Ensure business system integrity, relevant to BGS-C, as it is related to any impacted enterprise work movement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners on projects.

  • Provide coaching and guidance across the enterprise.

  • Ensure compliance to documented policies and procedures.

  • Manage multiple concurrent deadlines.

  • Provide technical solutions to complex problems to mitigate risks to business strategies and goals.

  • Guide projects to successful completion.

  • Conduct research in support of emergent demand, tool requests and part number inquiries.

  • Understands the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities involved within this process, including the impact of changes from one area to another.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a portfolio of projects.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.

  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders.

  • Must be proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

  • Enterprise Resource Planning experience (SAP, ERPLN, etc…).

  • Functional experience in at least one other area of the business / Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, AOG, Work Movement/Transfer, etc.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 68,000 - 92,000
