Job Description

At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Classified Release Packaging & Deployments Lead to join the team in Berkeley, MO.

The Boeing Company runs on disciplined cost, schedule, and performance management, and our enterprise Earned Value Management (EVM) capability is at the center of that execution.

This role supports the company’s enterprise EVM toolset: a mission-critical finance and program execution platform used across Boeing and touching every business unit. When releases are late, packaging is incomplete, or deployments don’t go cleanly in restricted environments, the impact can be immediate and high-consequence for program execution.

We’re looking for a senior, execution-driven leader who can own release packaging, readiness, and “behind-the-wall” deployment success, ensuring every release is compliant, validated, and operationally ready where it matters most.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Own release planning and execution governance for proprietary/classified environments, with primary responsibility for Proprietary Common Application Suite (PCAS) packaging, validation, and release readiness

  • Execute and govern releases in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) scoped environment, ensuring change approvals, evidence capture, release gating, and audit-ready documentation are completed accurately and on time

  • Lead deployment and sustainment execution for restricted/classified environments (including troubleshooting and stabilization)

  • Coordinate readiness activities: packaging/validation, defect triage, security/compliance gates, and integration verification

  • Serve as the primary Information Technology (IT) point of contact for proprietary/classified program teams and deployment stakeholders

  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce repeat issues and improve release outcomes

  • Manage dependencies and risks across internal teams and external vendors

  • Support implementation planning, cutover/rollback planning, and post-deployment validation activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in release management, deployment leadership, implementation leadership, or production operations for enterprise applications

  • 5+ years of experience driving releases across multiple environments with formal readiness/compliance gates

  • 5+ years of experience with large system installation/configuration activities in controlled environments

  • 5+ years of experience with .NET and Oracle technologies (e.g., C# and Oracle-based application stacks)

  • Experience with deployments in restricted, closed, or air-gapped environments

  • Experience with delivery/release tooling and formal change control governance

  • Ability to travel 5–10% of the time to support closed/proprietary area programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Active U.S. Security Clearance

  • Experience supporting enterprise finance, program planning, scheduling, or Earned Value Management (EVM) systems

  • Experience working with IT vendors/suppliers and managed service providers, including coordinating deliverables, managing dependencies, driving execution accountability, and communicating status/risks across cross-functional teams

  • Experience with virtual desktop/virtual machine solutions (e.g., Horizon) and environmental constraints

  • Experience with Deltek platforms/solutions
