Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), F-15 International Organization is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and collaborative F-15IA Chief Systems Engineer (Level 5) to join Boeing in Berkeley, MO to support the F-15 International Office of the Chief Engineer. You will lead the F-15 Israel development.

In this role you will lead the systems engineering efforts associated with the design and development of the F-15IA weapon system consisting of at least 25 new build aircraft, the integration of a significant number of indigenous avionics systems, the integration of our new Mission Computing Architecture, a Weapon System Integration Facility, and more. You will lead the program through technical events (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.). You will lead the F-15IA SEIT team, coordinate closely with the program management team (including ESGP and Development Excellence), and integrate across the engineering functions. You will partner closely with USAF and IAF throughout the development.

Position Responsibilities

  • Inspire and Lead: Provide engineering leadership to technical teams, fostering collaboration and creativity while engaging with Boeing teams as well as customers.
  • Architect of Solutions: Lead the planning, design, development, and verification of the F-15IA. Your strategic thinking will ensure that we will successfully integrate the indigenous equipment within our platform capacities.
  • Technical Trailblazer: Take charge of technical and integration leadership, steering the development and execution of program plans with minimal direction. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex challenges and delivering exceptional results.
  • Manage Technical Baseline: Oversee the technical baselines and ensure the integration. Your attention to detail will be vital in maintaining system integrity. You will define and monitor Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
  • Adapt and Overcome: Respond proactively to changes in Prime Requirements, assessing impacts and negotiating modifications to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules. Your agility will be key in maintaining project momentum.
  • Ensure Excellence: Take ownership of ensuring that all requirements are accurately allocated to sub-tier requirements. You will maintain traceability, ensuring that our systems meet rigorous standards.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with the United States Air Force (USAF) and IAF ensuring alignment and collaboration on key initiatives.
  • Collaborate for Consistency: Work closely with platform system architects to ensure that the defined architecture aligns seamlessly with other F-15 programs, driving coherence and strategic direction.

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 10+ years of engineering experience
  • 5+ years of systems integration experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
  • Experience with the F-15 platform
  • Experience in DOORS & MSOSA
  • Experience with ongoing capability enhancements for fielded systems
  • Experiencing managing customer relationships

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Summary pay range: $154,700 – $209,300
