Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a very experienced, motivated Senior Project Management Specialist - Control Account Manager (CAM) (Level 5 or 6) to fill an exciting new role in the Program Management, Integrated Planning & Scheduling functional Home Office team.  The successful candidate will help affect positive engagement with the BDS CAM community to drive improved communication, training, process efficiency, and compliance. This role may be based in Berkeley, MO, Saint Charles, MO, El Segundo, CA, Huntsville, AL, Mesa, AZ, Oklahoma City, OK, Tukwila, WA, Renton, WA or Ridley Park, PA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead a regular cadence of communication / engagement with the full community of CAMs supporting BDS programs.
  • Provide Control Account Manager (CAM) role subject matter expertise to enable CAMs throughout BDS to efficiently manage their EVM work scope.
  • Represent the BDS CAM community in the development and maintenance of EVM processes and command media.
  • Advise and recommend IP&S change and baseline management best practices, processes, techniques, and tools.
  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of Earned Value Management (EVM) training and guidance for BDS CAMs
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to BDS CAMs.
  • Perform independent assessments of CAM performance with respect to execution of EVM role responsibilities

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts
  • 5+ years experience in managing complex project schedules and managing large scale program and projects.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirements.

Travel: This position can require 15% to 25% domestic travel, dependance on program activities.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Level 5:

Tier 1: $146,200 - $197,800

Tier 2: $136,850 - $185,150

Tier 3: $127,500 - $172,500

Level 6:

Tier 1: $168,300 - $227,700

Tier 2: $157,250 - $212,750

Tier 3: $146,200 - $198,800
