Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is responsible for leading the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of Insitu's quality systems and processes. This position collaborates with leadership across the company to build and maintain a quality culture that is highly focused on meeting the customers' requirements and regulatory compliance needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains the company’s Quality System, procedures and policies.
  • Ensures compliance with industry-specific quality standards, customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzes and reports on quality metrics, trends, and performance.
  • Leads and mentors Quality Department management and staff. Develops department goals, provides regular feedback and direction.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Partners closely with Supply Chain to monitor supplier performance.
  • Develops and implements quality training programs.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years related experience
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Experience leading successful process improvement initiatives
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative
  • Able to work onsite in Bingen, WA.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Defense Industry and working with Defense Contract Management Agency Representatives
  • Experience engaging with Suppliers to root cause and correct quality issues to partner for success

Typical Hiring Range: 144,500.00 - 198,550.00
