The Boeing Company’s Talent Acquisition organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Global University Recruiting to lead Boeing's global university campus recruiting initiatives, including enterprise oversight of strategy for community and technical colleges. This position can be based in North Charleston, SC, Chicago, IL, Plano, TX, Seattle, WA, Hazelwood, MO or Titusville, FL.

This senior leadership role will be pivotal in developing and implementing strategies that enhance our university relations, elevate the intern and entry-level experience, and drive innovative talent acquisition solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in campus recruiting, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven ability to influence and drive change within a large organization. The successful applicant will also possess outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, a detail-focused and proactive approach, and strong skills in influence and relationship management, enabling them to handle complex challenges independently.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Set and implement a comprehensive global strategy specifically focused on university campus recruiting, university relations, and the manager/intern experience, with a particular emphasis on community and technical colleges

  • Design and deliver enterprise-wide talent acquisition solutions that attract and engage an inclusive workforce for both intern and entry-level roles, leveraging partnerships with universities and community colleges

  • Develop and execute a targeted early talent strategy that prioritizes university and community college engagement, providing input on cross-Talent Acquisition matters including people, process, and technology

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, community colleges, and educational institutions to ensure a best-in-class source of early talent, leveraging these partnerships to enhance recruiting efforts

  • Lead proactive engagement initiatives with universities and community colleges to deliver strategic programs that support university recruiting efforts, including career fairs, workshops, and internship programs

  • Create and implement sustainable strategies, in partnership with employment branding, to attract high potential talent from universities and community colleges, enhancing the Boeing Intern Experience

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the enterprise to create meaningful experiences for summer interns and ensure operational excellence in the recruiting process

  • Ensure compliance with regional laws and business needs while overseeing the hiring processes for interns and entry-level talent

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition processes

  • 5+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives and driving innovation, specifically tailored to campus environments

  • 5+ years of experience leading and inspiring a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence

  • 3+ years of experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

  • 3+ years of experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience in campus recruiting with a strong focus on building relationships with universities and community colleges

  • Experience partnering as an HR focal and talent acquisition program design, particularly in the context of university recruiting

  • Experience leading significant campus recruiting efforts in a competitive talent landscape, with a strong emphasis on university partnerships

  • Experience solving complex problems, designing creative hiring strategies and driving significant value into the organization

  • Experience with business planning and/or forecasting labor

  • Experience using Workday and Tableau

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $165,650 – $253,000
