The Boeing Company is looking for Experienced SAP Functional Specialist to join the team in Dallas, TX; Hazelwood, MO; Ridley Park, PA; or Seattle, WA.

Are you a Procure-to-Pay specialist ready to own end-to-end vPTP implementations? Join a dynamic team where you’ll lead PTP rollouts by working hands-on with Dassian, the SAP integration layer, bringing PTP processes to life and ensuring seamless system-to-system flows. If you thrive on implementing best-practice PTP solutions, tackling integration challenges, and delivering measurable procurement and payables improvements, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact across the enterprise. Apply today to drive transformation through practical, integrated PTP expertise.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define configuration strategy and solution patterns for reuse, scalability, and maintainability across S/4HANA

  • Provide functional leadership and hands-on support for Dassian solution implementations and accelerators (including Dassian best-practice templates, rapid-deployment artifacts, and conversion tools)

  • Configure and support Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes leveraging Dassian standard content and customer-specific extensions, tailor templates for master data conversion, configuration, and cutover readiness

  • Implement and govern Advanced Output Management using BRF+/AOM and manage document outputs and integrations (IDocs/EDI/third-party connectors); ensure Dassian integrations are configured and validated

  • Support invoice capture and automation solutions (Dassian-provided or integrated third-party tools), straight-through processing, automated matching, and exceptions handling; integrate with FI/AP processes

  • Leverage Fiori apps and Dassian-provided UI extensions for monitoring and execution; support serialization, batch management, and handling units where business scope requires

  • Troubleshoot functional and integration issues, coordinate with ABAP/development teams for technical fixes, and provide integration guidance across SD, MM, FI, EWM, and TM as applicable

  • Support ATP/aATP, delivery relevance scenarios, and ensure end-to-end order fulfillment integrity when relevant to Dassian-enabled use cases

  • Drive process standardization and controls: GR/IR, invoice matching/tolerances (VIM/MIRO/ERS), dispute resolution, segregation of duties, tax/WHT compliance, and auditability; ensure Dassian templates embed required controls

  • Create and maintain architecture artifacts, FDDs, test strategies and cases (SIT/UAT/Performance), runbooks, and operational playbooks that include Dassian-specific configuration and conversion steps

  • Lead delivery for PTP implementations and enhancements: design, Dassian configuration and conversion coordination, development coordination, testing, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization

  • Provide technical and functional leadership during testing and rollout: issue triage, RCA, remediation coordination, and resolution tracking for Dassian components and integrations

  • Ensure PTP and Dassian-integrated solutions comply with security, regulatory, and corporate IT standards; embed finance/tax/audit controls and data governance in conversion and steady-state processes

  • Mentor and enable functional teams, junior architects, and third-party integrators on Dassian patterns and S/4HANA best practices, drive knowledge transfer and readiness for sustained operations

  • Evaluate Dassian-specific add-ons, third-party tools, and SAP/market capabilities; recommend pragmatic solutions, adopt roadmaps, and where to leverage Dassian accelerators vs custom development

  • Debug business processes and collaborate with ABAP/development teams to resolve technical issues; experience validating Dassian deliverables and integrations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in IT

  • 5+ years of experience configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Procure-to-Pay (PTP) solutions

  • Experience with 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementations that cover scoping & planning, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support as well as 1+ end-to-end implementation in SAP S/4HANA

  • Experience translating business requirements into conceptual and detailed solution designs, writing functional specifications, coordinating development (ABAP/API), managing transports, and executing test strategies (SIT/UAT/performance)

  • Experience implementing Advanced Output Management (BRF+/AOM) and designing output integrations (IDoc/EDI/APIs) using Dassian approaches where applicable

  • Experience with SAP interfaces that include EDI, RFC, IDoc, REST/OData APIs, and middleware integrations between SAP and non‑SAP systems (payment hubs, tax engines, e-invoicing platforms)

  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • SAP Certifications

  • Experience with aerospace & defense business processes

  • Experience with excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

  • Experience working with international and cross‑functional teams

  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and common SAP testing tools
