The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Product Specialist to join the team in Englewood, CO; Charleston, SC; Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; or Seattle, WA.

The Senior Product Specialist to lead our Microservices Strategy, Cloud Platform Products, and Data Marketplace initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for these critical areas, ensuring that our offerings meet customer needs and drive business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our cloud capabilities and data services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration activities across major Infrastructure Technology Operations (IT&O) functions (Network, End User Services, Cloud, Compute and IT Operations) and external functions (Integration Management Office, Boeing Enterprise Security)
  • Develop a multi-year technical integration roadmap planning that aligns Infrastructure Technology and Operations (IT&O) IT Architecture with business and program needs
  • Perform activities to identify and pursue market opportunities for Information Technology products to business needs
  • Oversee customer engagements. Develops IT product solution strategy and portfolio
  • Oversee creation and approval of business case, product plans and price analysis
  • Manage development, resource allocation and scheduling for project requirements
  • Consult on value propositions and analysis of customer processes to identify optimal product mix
  • Represent/promotes IT products internally and externally
  • Adjust product strategy to meet financial targets
  • Serve as liaison between Infrastructure Technology and Operations (IT&O) functions and Integration Management Office (IMO) for delivering key milestones
  • Manage relationships between major business units and Boeing functions throughout integration activities
  • Report progress to plan on major integration activities across functions
  • Maintain risk, issues and opportunities (RIO) reporting
  • Develop and manages complex, enterprise-wide IT project plans and deliverables
  • Lead activities to determine project scope, schedule, and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle
  • Manage the incorporation of quality management systems for IT projects
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Identify and negotiate necessary resources to meet project goals
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on resource allocation
  • Provide leadership and guidance on the development of project communication plans
  • Lead activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Identify the need for vendor-provided products and services for complex, enterprise-wide projects
  • Coordinate and oversee supplier activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Product Management
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
  • 5+ years of experience with Technology Organizations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies including AWS & GCP
  • Experience with Data Management and Data Monetization
  • Experience with SAFe agile development methodologies and tools
  • Experience with communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $157,250 – $227,700
