Boeing's Chief Aerospace Safety Office (CASO) is looking for an Experienced (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Safety & Airworthiness Technical Talent Analyst to join our team onsite.

In this role, you will support and drive the function’s technical talent and development initiatives while leading the intern and entry-level hiring programs for CASO. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous professional growth, shaping how technical development is approached across our function and the broader company. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to build collaboration and unity among team members.

This role reports to the Safety & Airworthiness Engineering Function Workforce Development team, under the guidance of the Functional Chief Engineer. Primary responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain technical talent reviews for Safety & Airworthiness, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Align technical talent reviews with the Safety and Airworthiness Fellowship and functional teams to maintain consistency and strategic focus.
  • Collaborate with engineering functions and business units’ enterprise-wide to support technical talent reviews and the Fellowship nomination process.
  • Manage and maintain the Safety and Airworthiness Boeing Designated Expert process, including coordination of the annual insite audit.
  • Partner with technical experts and Safety & Airworthiness Engineering Fellows to facilitate application processes and address technical talent development needs.
  • Coordinate monthly updates of the Technical Lead Engineer list for the Chief Aerospace Safety Office, monitor training compliance, and conduct the annual insite audit.
  • Lead the intern and entry-level hiring demand process for the Chief Aerospace Safety Office during spring and fall hiring cycles.
  • Work cross-functionally with business units to achieve enterprise targets for intern and entry-level hiring.
  • Support the management and execution of the Chief Aerospace Safety Office Summer Intern Program.
  • Provide mentorship and functional guidance to interns and entry-level employees within the Chief Aerospace Safety Office.
  • Utilize tools such as Smartsheet, Tableau, and Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel, to support data tracking and reporting.
  • Assess technical talent gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective gap closure plans.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelors degree
  • Level 3: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with technical talent and development and/or Fellowship management
  • Experience with new employee onboarding and/or orientation, or intern management
  • 6+ years of data analytics experience
  • Experience in a role that required excellent communication, project management, systems thinking, and attention to detail
  • 6+ years of experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in building strong business relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of work time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Experience in presenting data to customers, suppliers, and program and site leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment with exceptional attention to detail
  • Understanding of business process management
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand the big picture, demonstrate initiative, and apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills effectively.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

  • Experienced (Level 3): $87,550 - $136,850
  • Senior (Level 4) $109,650 - $171,350
