The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Customer Quality Support Representative to join the KC-46 Tanker program located in Everett, WA.

The Customer Quality Support role is a customer interface focal who is essential for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and requirements set forth by organizations such as the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the United States Air Force (USAF). By performing inspections on Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) products on behalf of DCMA/USAF, the role helps to verify that products meet the necessary quality and safety standards. By conducting thorough inspections and supporting DCMA process evaluations, the Customer Quality Support role helps to identify and mitigate potential risks early in the production process. The Customer Quality Support role plays a critical function in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, enhancing customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining Boeing's reputation for quality and reliability.

This position supports multiple shift operation facility, and the selected candidate may be required to work either 1st or 2nd shift depending on the business needs.

This position will:

  • Serve as the quality customer interface and assist the customer throughout production and delivery on complex accounts, tasks and projects.

  • Provide product manufacturing and delivery status.

  • Facilitate and lead resolution of customer concerns.  

  • Complete administrative tasks that support customer requirements.

  • Engage and lead stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.

  • Lead in the identification and execution of improvement activities aimed at enhancing the customer experience and increasing efficiency.

  • Provide customer orientations around safety, production, delivery processes and the Quality Management System.

  • Coordinate and communicate applicable production records with the customer.

  • Perform aircraft inspections as BDS airline customer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform customer reviews, shakes, and inspections

  • Independently manage the schedule of customer inspections and events

  • Coordinate with customer, manufacturing, and quality stakeholders to ensure alignment of resources to support schedule

  • Assist the customer throughout production and delivery through various quality tasks and projects

  • Provide product manufacturing and delivery status

  • Facilitate and lead customer concern resolution

  • Complete administrative tasks that support customer requirements

  • Engage and lead stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Lead in the identification and execution of improvement activities aimed at enhancing the customer experience and increasing efficiency

  • Provide customer orientations around safety, production, delivery processes, and the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Coordinate and communicate applicable records with customer

  • Work under minimal supervision and exercise considerable latitude in determining strategies and approaches to assignments based on procedures, goals, and objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with aircraft production or maintenance

  • Experience directly interfacing with customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)

  • Experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Experience working independently and managing work statement

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or engineering degree

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: USD $90,950 – 115,000
