Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Logistics Service Representative to support AH64 D/E Helicopter program at Fort Campbell, Kentucky

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

This position is to perform duties as a Field Operations PBL Logistics Support Representative.

  • Define, develop, direct, and monitor AH64 D/E Helicopter customer support programs from concept through disposal to satisfy requirements for ongoing product support, spares, repairs, overhaul, equipment provisioning, tooling, data, and other related services.
  • Represent the company with military customers to plan, budget, and schedule support programs.
  • Develop proposals for schedule, equipment, transportation, and storage.
  • Investigate schedule discrepancies and develop resolution plans.
  • Use specialized knowledge of customers to market support products and services, and to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with and military customers, equipment suppliers, transportation providers, and company engineering and manufacturing organizations to ensure delivery of support products and services.
  • Knowledge of onsite supply activities required to meet contracted performance commitments.
  • Ability to analyze and provide the customer solutions to complex supply-related questions involving spares, repairs, or processes.
  • Knowledge of procurement requirements, inventory operations, property management, Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) requirements, materials handling equipment, shipping and receiving operations, hazardous materials shipping, traffic management operations, export control, packaging and crating.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have ability to construct, maintain and present professional and advanced presentations from software such as PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly to government customers, Field Operations personnel and multiple management / chain-of-command levels.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer's needs and statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime including rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with government customers is desired
  • Experience with military logistical systems, network, and communication, is desired
  • Experience with supply chain management is desired
  • Apache Field Operations and warzone deployment experience is a plus.
  • An understanding of the Apache aviation customers, associated rank structure/chain-of-command and aircraft operations, is preferred.
  • Previous experience presenting to senior leadership/management is desirable.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $69,700 - $94,300.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
