Our Commercial Modifications Europe team delivers cutting-edge retrofit solutions for in-service Boeing aircraft worldwide, leveraging an EASA certification pathway.

This role focuses on our Connectivity product line, which provides Low Earth Orbit connectivity solutions to airlines. Reporting to the Global Connectivity Leader in Long Beach, California, the successful candidate will lead project managers across Europe and ensure strong collaboration with the global team responsible for delivering connectivity solutions through the EASA certification process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers located in Frimley, Dublin, and other locations as determined by the business.

  • Partner with the Global Connectivity Leader to shape the programme execution strategy and ensure the team is aligned and focused on its successful delivery.

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and risk management activities to meet or exceed program objectives.

  • Serve as the main liaison between senior management and project teams, delivering transparent updates on program status, risks, and opportunities.

  • Facilitate resource planning, workload balancing, and professional development for team members across multiple locations.

  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve project management processes and boost overall team performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain and Customer Support to ensure seamless program execution.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management activities within the project management team.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams of Project Managers, ideally within the aerospace sector.

  • Strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex aerospace projects.

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, JIRA, Smartsheet) and reporting software.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Additional Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work immediately in either the UK or Ireland.

  • Ability to work onsite in either Frimley or Dublin locations a minimum of 3 days a week.

  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to Long Beach for strategic coordination, globally to support emergent customer needs, and to Dublin/Frimley for team management activities (approximately 25% of the time).

  • Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
