We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team, based in Gurugram, India. Reporting to the Global Support Center, this role involves delivering technical workshops to customers, supporting Boeing products and global initiatives, and facilitating multilingual discussions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert-led workshops to customers in areas such as Systems Engineering, specific aircraft ATA chapters (e.g., Flight Control, Thrust Reversers, Landing Gears), Maintenance, Wiring, Drawings, and more. Develop and maintain training materials within your area of expertise.
  • Provide customer support by troubleshooting operational issues, analyzing customer data to enhance efficiency and reliability, and supporting Entry into Service programs as needed.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects, applying project management skills to coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with airline customers, communicating relevant activities to local Boeing leadership and internal management.
  • Collaborate closely with Boeing teams across Southeast Asia, China, and the United States.
  • Confidently engage with airline management to address inquiries and concerns effectively.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Proven expertise in avionics systems.
  • Strong background in Systems Engineering with specialized knowledge in Electrical Systems (ATA 24) and familiarity with ATA chapters 22, 23, 31, 34, and 42.
  • Direct experience working with customers in India.
  • Local hire with fluency in the local language (reading, writing, and speaking) and cultural understanding.
  • Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
  • Broad knowledge of the aviation industry, including Boeing products and services.
  • Solid understanding of airline operations and aviation regulations (FAA, ICAO, and country-specific rules).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills):

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Engineering) is required as BASIC QUALIFICATION.
  • Experience with heavy maintenance checks involving wiring modifications is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with QAR and ACMS systems for troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Mechanical systems knowledge in ATA chapters 21, 27, 28, 29, 32, and 36 is a plus competencies
  • Problem Solving: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal Boeing teams on special projects.
  • Discretion: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong time and project management skills.
  • Impact: Plays a key role in the successful delivery of major programs and may lead projects with significant customer and organizational impact.
  • Liaison: Acts as a technical representative, resolving complex issues and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Work Authorization:

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in India where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.

Typical Education & Experience:

  • 12+ years experience with Bachelor degree or 11+ years experience with Master degree is preferred. Degree from an ABET-accredited program is preferred but not mandatory.

Relocation:

  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Must be willing to spend 3-6 months outside India once hired on assignment and training in China, SE Asia and the USA as applicable and the need arise.
  • This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
