Boeing Global Services (BGS-G) is looking for a Procurement Agent (Experienced, or Senior) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experience, or Senior level Procurement Agents.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, prepare, and execute negotiation strategies for pricing and contract terms and condition on binding agreements which may include business agreements, contract amendments, Proprietary Information Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, and Purchase Contracts

  • Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions

  • Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions

  • Ensure responsiveness to customer needs within the framework of the supply chain process and compliance with procedures

  • Manage supplier relationships and maintain appropriate communication tools and plans

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to strategically address supplier support issues

  • Communicate and provide leadership visibility of significant supplier issues impacting the airline customers

  • Trains and mentors fellow procurement agents

  • Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.

  • Develops and executes company strategic business goals and objectives.

  • Consults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies.

  • Formalizes procurement requirements with customers

  • Negotiate documents.

  • Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Develops organization and company improvement plans.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.

  • 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • 6+ years of experience in Program or Project Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans.

  • 10+ years of experience developing proposals

  • 10+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles.

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4)

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for experienced level: 74,800 - 101,200

Summary pay range for senior level: 95,200 - 128,800
