Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Marketing & Sales Representative to join our team in Hazelwood, MO, Long Beach , CA, or Ridley Park, PA, or any of the Boeing hubs.

The selected candidate will represent Boeing in Contested Logistics, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and cross P&L integration with Boeing Ventures and ET&T to accelerate innovation in R&D.  Currently partnered with small businesses' focusing on SBIR and IDIQs providing Boeing a tool to expand both domestic, as well as International, above plan growth within LRBP, establish requirements in the POM, and shape new business beyond FYDP.  Leads trade show "Small Business Hub" demonstrating small business partner capabilities to customers. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generate new ideas for growth and market entry in partnership with the Global Sales and Marketing team
  • Anticipate changes in the marketplace and possessing the strategic vision to understand disruption and how to capitalize on emerging opportunities
  • Rapidly disposition potential value propositions to determine legitimacy for adjacency market entry
  • Evaluate go to market and tactical execution linkages, such as investment needs and technical differentiation to help executability of new business ideas
  • Capitalize on the potential synergies between Commercial, Defense, and other elements of the broader Boeing enterprise
  • Emphasis in all phases will include the application of commercial technologies to the defense market wherever that creates a competitive advantage
  • Work tightly with the Strategy team to ensure application of enterprise investments and tools to drive affordability in these highly cost sensitive markets
  • Ensure that customer insights and problems are being compiled and understood for future improvement in solution creation and positioning
  • Develops solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with the BGS strategic objectives
  • Ability to generate insights from quantitative and qualitative data to explain implications on business strategy
  • Deep dive into the key strategic and tactical issues related to defense services businesses
  • Generate key strategic analysis, possess an aptitude for critical thinking and also have the ability to present the insights from this analysis to senior leaders within the business

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience working with government and/or military organizations
  • 5+ years’ experience in a role which required an understanding of Aerospace & Defense related technologies and services
  • 5+ years’ experience with contract review and negotiations
  • Experience integrated logistics support, fleet management, supply chain management, and Performance Based Logistics/contracting
  • Experience with competitive acquisitions
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment collaborative environment in support of multiple organizations
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Able to travel approximately 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Sales and marketing experience
  • Knowledge of aviation  
  • Logistics experience  
  • Working knowledge of the DoD acquisition processes  
  • Prior work in positions requiring long term strategic assessment, threat & customer problem analysis, technology disruptions are a positive

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $126,650 - $196,650
