Our Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) portfolio supports critical defense programs, including the Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) missile system.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Integration Engineer to join the PAC-3 Seeker program. The successful candidate will demonstrate broad technical expertise and leadership capabilities to guide multi-disciplinary engineering teams. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement in production and engineering processes.

Boeing is proud to produce and sustain the PAC-3 Seeker system, a key component of the U.S. Army’s missile defense capability. Located in Huntsville, Alabama, Boeing serves as a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin, manufacturing the Ka-band millimeter-wave seeker — a product of decades of research and development that provides active guidance for target acquisition and terminal engagement. Since 2000, Boeing has produced over 6,000 PAC-3 seekers. To support growing defense needs, Boeing recently expanded its Huntsville facilities, including a 28,000-square-foot production area and a 9,000-square-foot Electronics Center of Excellence.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead design integration efforts and resolve complex technical issues across the program

  • Ensure consistent technical baseline integration throughout all program phases

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks, driving issues to timely resolution

  • Develop innovative, high-impact solutions to challenging engineering problems

  • Operate effectively both independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams

  • Provide critical technical reviews and support to engineering peers

  • Lead technical integration across diverse disciplines including systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering

  • Direct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and implementing resolution plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 12+ years of combined education and relevant work experience (including advanced degrees, certifications, or technical training)

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Engineering or related science/technology discipline

  • Proven experience managing large-scale technical programs using advanced program and engineering management techniques

  • Experience with engineering processes and tools in high-rate production environments

  • Background in radar systems and circuit card assembly/production processes

  • Experience with product and test equipment modernization initiatives (Design for Manufacturability, Testability, and Assembly)

  • Demonstrated success leading complex engineering projects and multi-disciplinary teams

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and programmatic teams

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $154,700 - $209,300
