An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing Ukraine as a BCA System Stress Structural Analysis Engineer.

On this position, you will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. You will represent the organization by providing solutions to technical issues associated with specific projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plans, performs and leads detailed structural analysis (static strength, durability/fatigue and vibration/windmilling analysis).

  • Develops new materials, methods, tools, and designs to support future programs.

  • Leads a team of stress analysts and provide coaching across all levels.

  • Check, verify and provide feedback on supplier’s technical documentation and reports.

  • Work in collaboration with other engineering teams.

  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 7+ years work experience in structural analysis engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, free-body diagrams, load path, structural loads, joints and structural analysis methods.

  • Strong knowledge of strength of materials (hand calculation, analytical methods) approach.Strong knowledge of aircraft systems design philosophy.

  • Knowledge of different aircraft systems commodities.

  • Experience in structural analysis of metallic or composite aircraft system elements.

  • Experience in static, fatigue and vibration analyses.

  • Experience in CAD/CAE and FEA systems (Catia, Nastran/ Patran).

  • Solid communicator, Upper-intermediate level or higher in both written and verbal English.

  • Readiness to work with multi-functional team in a flexible schedule (overtime, shifted work schedule) to meet the business needs.

  • Readiness for business trips.

  • Existing rights to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in static, fatigue and vibration analyses

  • Proven experience in aircraft systems engineering.

  • Experience in leading a team of stress analysts.

  • Knowledge of Boeing aircraft structures.

  • Experience in FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 25 & 26) and certification processes.
