Boeing Supply Chain is currently looking for an AssociateInventory Modeling Technical Specialist to join our team in Long Beach, CA or Warner Robbins, Georgia. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization. 

A successful candidate will understand the importance of data quality as these positions will focus on working directly with the obsolescence team to perform statistical and mathematical data analysis to enable the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business to meet their organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform obsolescence material modeling and related project oversight to meet business objectives.

  • Gather and develop data sets, models and simulations.

  • Assist in using models to estimate resource needs.

  • Participate in the use of tools and models to predict supply chain impacts and improve processes.

  • Support assessment of supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time.

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.

  • Acts as the initial point of escalation for customer issues or challenges encountered by the team.

  • Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain simulation and/or demand and inventory material modeling

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience in Obsolescence forecasting and development of impact analysis

  • Experience in using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance and enable high quality deliverables

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $82,450.00 - $119,600.00
