Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently looking for an ExperiencedLogistics Support Representative (LSR) to support the V-22 program at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, California.


The Logistics Support Representative (LSR) will provide essential logistics support for the V-22 Modification and Retrofit efforts at MCAS Miramar, CA. The LSR will serve as the Point of Entry for all material requirements, ensuring efficient logistics operations to support ongoing activities.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short-notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Order and track materials required for Modification and Retrofit efforts
  • Conduct thorough research and validate part requirements for accurate procurement
  • Actively seek out materials needed for Modification and Retrofit, liaising with other sites to share and obtain overstock
  • Manage Modification kits, including receipt, breakdown, and shortage coordination
  • Provide daily reports on parts and kit status to stakeholders
  • Maintain accountability for all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) associated with activities
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with packaging guidelines
  • Document all movement of items in spreadsheets or databases for accurate tracking
  • Act as a liaison with military supply departments and expediter for procurement processes
  • Maintain necessary certifications, including forklift operation and Hazmat certification
  • Must maintain a Flight Line License and any other required certifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and operations
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools (GOLDesp)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Technical knowledge of V-22 systems and maintenance processes
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends to improve supply chain efficiency
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management preferred
  • Advanced technical knowledge in V-22 systems.
  • Specialized warehouse management certifications.
  • Experience with remote communication tools and virtual collaboration platforms.

Summary pay range: $89,250 - $120,750.
