Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Associate , Mid-Level, or Senior Numerical Control Programmer to join ourteamin North Charleston, South Carolina.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, revise and verify 3 and 5 axis Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry for primarily composite detail parts and assemblies, with some foam and aluminum.

  • Provide machine operator instructions and documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment per established processes

  • Assist in numerous tasks related to numerical controlled manufacturing, including working as part of a team with Process Engineers, NC Programmers, Manufacturing Engineers, Equipment & Tool Engineering, equipment suppliers, Design Engineers, Boeing Research & Technology Engineers, Quality Engineers, Information Technology, Industrial Engineers and operations personnel

  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.

  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

  • Ability to travel domestically to Everett, WA

  • This position is for first shift and 100% onsite

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Associates degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • 3+ years’ experience in Engineering and Manufacturing environment

  • Experience in model integration using REDARS, CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and/or PSDS

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with airplane interior products designed and produced at the Interior Responsibility Center (IRC)

  • Some knowledge or experience with MasterCam and/or Vericut

  • Familiar with Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel Macros, or other scripting programs

Pay Range Summary:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Associate Level: $83,300 - $112,700

Mid-Level: $100,300 - $135,700

Senior Level: $120,700 - $163,300
