The Boeing Company’s 787 Airframe Engineering group is currently seeking a Project Management Specialist to join their team in North Charleston, SC!

This position will focus on supporting 787 Airframe Fuselage Engineering Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs project tasks that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
  • Provides reports, project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others.
  • Uses negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve project performance commitments.
  • Responsible for the development and update of task specific, plans, deliverables and schedules.
  • Responsible for facilitating engineering review board meetings

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
  • Experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Experience interacting with business partners and customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in an aircraft production environment
  • Experience in aircraft certification, configuration management, and/or change management
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Pay Range Summary:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Associate Level: $68,850 - $93,150

Mid-Level: $87,550 - $118,450
