Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking Experienced Production Pilots to join the Production Flight Test organization in North Charleston, SC

Primary responsibility will be to conduct initial and follow-on production flights and customer demonstration flights on newly manufactured 787 (in Charleston) airplanes.  Successful candidates can expect travel and flights domestically and internationally in support of the production system as well as post-production activity via CFR 91 & 125.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans and conducts production and acceptance test flights

  • Demonstrates or leads the production acceptance process

  • Identifies and documents flight deficiencies and coordinates resolution

  • Plans, coordinates and conducts ferry, support, functional test, and customer demonstration flights on production and non-production aircraft

  • Serve as Pilot-In-Command

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements or military experience equivalent

  • Experience piloting turbine powered aircraft

  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel internationally without restrictions

  • Ability to obtain FAA First Class Medical certificate

  • 1500 flight hours

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Test Pilot School (TPS) Graduate

Shift:

This position is primarily 1st shift; however, some weekends and occasional off-shift work are required to support program objectives.

Travel:

This position will require 10% domestic & international travel.

Summary pay range: $179,590 - $254,150
