Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to support the QA Process Review, Investigations & Material Review (PRIME) Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift.

The Quality Systems Specialist will be responsible for developing metrics, executive level briefings, Quality cost estimates and leading multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives and metrics to assure program requirements. This candidate will have the understanding of higher-level quality and program sensitive data and business acumen. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading large-scale projects that have organizational impact to the teams and the business. Candidate will have experience working with the leadership teams and building long range business plans that support the business trends and data. This candidate will be experienced in the Boeing Production System and lean practices.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.

  • Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.

  • Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems. Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.

  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability.

  • Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval.

  • Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management.

  • Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment. Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing South Carolina (BSC).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 + years of experience with program oversight and metrics reporting

  • 5 + years of experience in project management

  • 5 + years of experience collecting data, developing metrics, and presenting information

  • 5 + years of experience working with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • 5 + years of experience supporting organizational objectives in a Scheduling, Strategy, Program Management, Business Operations, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Change Management, Project Management, Supply Chain or Staff Analyst role

  • 5 + years of experience with effective time management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills.

  • 5+ years of experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion

  • 5+ year of experience with strong presentation skills and the capability to effectively communicate data in Senior and Executive Leadership briefings

  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing operating rhythms, project plans, and/or metrics

  • 5 + years of experience in a role that requires organizational skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinating and leading high- level projects for Executives or Senior leadership

  • PMP Certified or experience with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices or equivalent program/project management processes

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $117,300 - $158,700
