The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Project Management Specialist (Virtual) to support our E-7 and KC-46 Training Systems OS and Software teams in Oklahoma City, OK or Seattle, WA. This role partners across the Software Engineering (SWE) Boeing Global Services (BGS), Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Boeing Defense Australia (BDA) software and engineering organizations with cross-functional agile teams to coordinate and execute program and project-level activities, maintain integrated plans and schedules, and support decision-making through analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, outcome-oriented project professional with strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and solid project planning and implementation experience. This role emphasizes independent execution, continuous improvement of project processes, and effective communication to enable timely delivery of project objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develop, maintain, and update integrated plans and schedules to meet program or project requirements, applying project management best practices and industry standards

  • Perform schedule and data analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments, and root-cause analysis to determine impacts and constraints; summarize findings and recommend mitigation actions

  • Create and maintain project reports, metrics, dashboards, and change activity records; communicate status and updates to stakeholders regularly throughout the project lifecycle

  • Lead coordination for project deliverables and drive cross-functional alignment to achieve project objectives; act as primary project contact for defined project areas or subsystems

  • Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, business systems, and tools; propose and implement process or tooling improvements that enhance team efficiency and decision making

  • Support leadership meeting preparation and productivity by coordinating agendas, materials, and follow-up on action items for project or program-level discussions

  • Develop clear communications and stakeholder-facing materials (status summaries, pre-reads, talking points) tailored to the audience

  • Assist immediate team and extended stakeholders in developing recovery plans when projects deviate from plan

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders

  • 3+ years of experience managing complex projects 

  • 2+ years of RTE experience operating in an Agile Development environment

  • Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Project Management Certification or a Scrum Master Certification

  • Ability to drive change and transformation while dealing with ambiguity in a complex, dynamic environment 

  • Ability to work successfully with diverse range of stakeholders, including various functional disciplines (Systems, HR, Finance, Workforce Strategy) and to lead and influence across multiple levels of leadership and functions within a matrixed organization  

  • Experienced with financial data analysis and staffing tools (including Adaptive Planning and CARMS) 

  • High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity while working in time-sensitive and rapidly evolving situations 

  • Advanced use of MS PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent) 

  • Executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal to create impactful emails, talking points, briefings, pre-read and presentation materials 

  • Tableau visualization tool or analytics dashboard development experience

Summary Pay Range Experienced (Level 3): $87,550 – $136,850
