Boeing Talent Acquisition and Global Service Engineering Core Team – Integration is currently looking for an Engineering Multi-Skill Project Engineer (Mid-Level) that will provide project leadership of multiple and simultaneous diverse continuous improvement projects which impact the entire BGS engineering value stream. This position can be located at the following Boeing sites: Hazelwood, Missouri; Long Beach, CA; San Antonio, TX; Jacksonville, FL; Mesa, Arizona; Oklahoma City, OK.

  • The selected candidate will develop project structure, organization and operating rhythm that ensures successful accomplishment of priorities, goals and objectives.
  • This position will use the Boeing Problem Solving Model methodology or Route Cause Corrective Action methodologies and Project Management tools to lead a geographically diverse integrated team.
  • Works with customers and management to obtain project and milestone approval.
  • Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
  • Leads project execution to complete the work statement.
  • Identifies performance metrics.
  • Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.
  • Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
  • Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
  • Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.
  • Projects will include, but are not limited to: Enterprise systemic challenges, Speak Ups and Root Cause Corrective Actions.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
  • 1+ years using Route Cause Corrective Action Methodologies
  • Able to travel 10% of the time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in a multi-skill operations environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in an Engineering Organization
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, to include managing multiple priorities
  • Experience in working as an integrated team member
  • Experience in developing tools and systems for engineering teams
  • Experience leading continuous improvement project and cost reduction initiatives
  • Experience using and applying command media
  • 1+ years of using the Boeing Problem Solving Model

Travel:

Travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.

Summary pay range for mid-level: $136, 850 - $185,150
