Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Fulfillment Manager (Level L) to lead our Composites Manufacturing Center (CMC) team based out of Puyallup, WA and a Senior Supply Chain Fulfillment Manager (Level L) to lead our Tubes, Ducts & Reservoir Center (TDRC) team based out of Algona, WA.

Both roles require strong partnership with Leaders across multifunctional teams including Operations, Engineering, and Quality.  Successful candidates will lead managers and teams responsible for analyzing supply chain material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands.  You will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking.  Both roles require blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organization to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of technicians, planners, material coordinators, and logistics/support personnel performing materials management operations activities

  • Implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce rework, and improve first-time-right delivery to test events

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships, and partnerships, with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

  • Possesses a mindset of safety and quality; influences the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in materials management and/or supply chain management

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with safety and quality processes

  • Analytical skills, problem solving, critical thinking and leading cross functionality

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at either Puyallup, WA or Algona, WA.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

Summary Pay Range:

$150,000 - $175,000
