The Boeing Brand Experiences (BBE) organization is seeking an energized Custom Merchandise Account Manager (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our Boeing Commercial Airline (BCA) team in Renton, WA.

The BCA custom merchandise team supports internal sales and customer relations for all global Boeing commercial airplane sales, by developing, recommending, and delivering both stock and custom merchandise to domestic and international airline companies and dignitaries. This merchandise includes high-end gifts for events, including aircraft deliveries, and customer dinners.

Our BCA custom merchandise team is seeking an energized, passionate, creative, and customer-obsessed account manager to grow our strategic custom merchandise relationships to support their business needs. The ideal candidate will use their superb customer service skills to establish long-term relationships with customers, provide product and assortment recommendations based on industry trends and historical qualitative and quantitative data, and effectively resolve customer service issues. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has a track record of success, within the promotional products and/or custom merchandise industries, to exceed customer service expectations.

The successful candidate is detail-oriented and will be able to effectively manage multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environment, while keeping stakeholders updated on progress. Proficiency in managing competing priorities, under short timelines, while maintain the highest levels of customer service and performance vs. goals, is a must.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes BCA custom merchandise strategy, with the ultimate goal of meeting or exceeding customer service expectations

  • Identifies, develops, and engages both BCA Sales and BCA Customer Relations customers and prospective customers

  • Analyzes customer support data to grow existing and new customers

  • Partners with internal and external business partners, at all levels up to C-level, to deliver executive level merchandise solutions on tight timelines

  • Uses product knowledge, merchandising skills, and creativity to communicate various product values to customers and develop merchandise proposals with price estimates

  • Manages, organizes, tracks, and processes orders daily, in partnership with customer and custom merchandise stakeholders

  • Supports other custom merchandise programs and initiatives, as needed

This position requires limited travel, as required by business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a relevant field of study

  • 1+years of experience in a customer service role

  • 1+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Exhibits an outstanding customer service attitude, and is flexible to changing schedules and requirements

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and other business related software

  • Experience in the custom merchandise industry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) or Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) industry experience preferred

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Level 2: $59,500 - $80,500

Summary pay range for Level 3: $76,500 - $103,500
