The Boeing Company’s Joint Union Program Administration division is currently seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to join their team in Renton, Washington.

Established in 1989 IAM/Boeing Joint Programs is a labor/management partnership where our leadership, our staff and our services all reflect a balanced relationship between the International Association of Machinist (IAM) Union and the Boeing Company.  Together we are dedicated to improving the health, safety and educational opportunities for IAM-represented employees in the Puget Sound and Portland.

This Program Coordinator position requires someone who can work closely with their union partner to perform their statement of work, effectively collaborate across teams, levels, functions, and organizations to drive improvements, consistency, and a strong culture of respect.

The candidate will report to an Admin Pair (comprised of one company admin and one union admin) who manage the team’s statement of work.  Strong cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform activities to plan, design, deliver and maintain Joint Program projects to improve the technical competence of the workforce
  • Establish partnerships within Boeing, the unions, and the external community to provide services as chartered by Boeing bargaining agreements​
  • Communicate Joint Program products and services to represented employees, union staff, Boeing management and external organizations
  • Partner with employees performing activities to plan, design, deliver and maintain Joint Program projects to improve the technical competence of the workforce
  • Develop and complete project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquire resources for projects/processes and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Influence change across multiple teams
  • Able to support projects on 2nd and 3rd shift when needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • 3+ years of experience solving problems and generating alternatives
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitating or helping to lead process improvement activities
  • 1+ years of experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or a union represented workforce
  • 1+ years of experience coaching and developing others

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • 3+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Safety Improvements in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
  • Experience leading groups, teams or activities

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $104,550 - $141,450
