Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Level 4) to join our Manufacturing and Safety Engagement team in Renton, Washington.

This dynamic role will lead and support a broad portfolio of initiatives aligned with Boeing’s Safety and Quality Improvement Plan, with a focus on worker safety, employee engagement, and leadership development.

The successful candidate will operate across the BCA enterprise collaborating with stakeholders globally to execute strategic programs that drive cultural transformation, improve safety outcomes, and develop our next generation of Boeing leaders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support key initiatives that enhance Boeing’s manufacturing safety and quality practices, including enterprise-wide programs and projects related to employee engagement, worker safety and leadership development
  • Serve as a project leader for a portfolio of efforts under the Safety and Quality Improvement Plan, driving alignment with company-wide safety and business performance goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business units, and senior leaders to define project scope, develop integrated project plans, and ensure timely execution and measurable impact
  • Translate complex topics into clear, concise communications for various audiences—including executive leadership
  • Provide strategic recommendations and insights to leadership to support continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and value delivery
  • Coordinate the development and deployment of strategy, plans, and supporting processes to meet long-range business objectives
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, monitor project health, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple workstreams
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and inter-dependencies, and lead mitigation or recovery planning as needed
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to less experienced project managers, contributing to overall team development and capability building

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects
  • 5+ years of experience leading workshops and working sessions
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing project management tools (example: Microsoft Project, Milestones, Open Project Professional, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives and senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Project management certification (PMP, PMI, PMBOK, PMBP, etc)

Pay and Benefits

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only.  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $122,400 – $150,000
