The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering Center of Excellence (PACE) is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their core team as an Estimating First Line Manager for the Estimating Team and Program.

This role is pivotal in managing the strategic direction of our estimating tools and the evolution of our estimating program. The ideal candidate will lead a regional estimating team and support estimate requests for Global Real Estate and Facilities, encompassing planning, construction management, asset management, and long-range business planning.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Define and manage the strategic direction of the estimating program to align with organizational goals.

    • Oversee the evolution of estimating tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor the regional estimating team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

    • Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to meet project demands.

  • Estimate Support:

    • Provide expert support for estimate requests related to Global Real Estate and Facilities.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive planning and execution of construction and asset management projects.

  • Estimating Tool Management:

    • Maintain and update estimating tools to reflect current best practices and industry standards.

    • Develop and implement training programs for team members and stakeholders on estimating tools and processes.

  • Market Research and Reporting:

    • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to inform estimating strategies.

    • Write and distribute market reports to support estimating efforts and provide insights to stakeholders.

  • Able to travel up to 25% domestically

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience partnering & working with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 5+ years of experience with project management/construction management

  • 3+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

  • 25% domestic travel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in program management and/or financial management/analysis

  • 5+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management

  • 5+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • 3+ years of experience in working with project finances

  • Experience with contract management, invoice management/reconciliation, and vendor management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $107,950 - $156,400
