The BGS Tooling Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced manager to lead the establishment and growth of a new team dedicated to providing Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) tooling support for BGS and BDS programs. This startup group will require a strong leader to build a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and develop effective business-level processes that align with an MRO environment.  The manager will lead the development and execute strategies for periodic maintenance and inspection processes to support ground support equipment, support equipment, production equipment and special tooling.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record in team building and strategic planning. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new team and contribute significantly to the success of BGS and BDS programs.

The position will be based in San Antonio and support the creation of a Jacksonville, FL tooling team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, computer science or related field
  • 1+ years of CATIA V5 experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Tooling technical field
  • Experience leading or managing projects and teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Boeing engineering design tools (CATIA, PDM etc.)
  • Experience with Government Aircraft MRO Operations
  • Experience with equipment and tool engineering

Summary pay range: $129,200 – $174,800
