Job Description

Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Operations Leader to join the team in Brazil. This role will be located in Sao Jose dos Campos.  The selected candidate will report to the executive in Brazil.  This role will lead a team in Sao Jose dos Campos and be responsible for the engineering operation management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads employees performing activities within multiple fields.

  • Manages employees and managers developing metrics and indicators and integrating management decisions.

  • Develops and implements integrated organizational policies and procedures and guides the development of operational performance, goals, objectives.

  • Work on cross-functional workstreams and forums to drive a lean operation of the business

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.  Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Develops and carries out integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and operational goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and improve internal controls in order to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements both internal and external.

  • Identify improvement opportunities, create related practical, achievable action plans, and provide program management support to execute against plans

  • Creates a culture of continuous improvement.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be legally able to work in Brazil

  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking in English

  • Bachelor’s degree in accredited course of study

  • Senior level experience in management and operations

  • Experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key partner relationship management

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Master's Degree or MBA

  • Ability to effectively handle ambiguity and to collaborate and partner with business leaders

  • Ability to align customer requirements with the broader organization.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
