The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Estimating & Pricing Specialist to join our team in Seal Beach, CA. This role gives a candidate the opportunity to apply their parts and fabrication estimating expertise while also developing data analysis and integration skills.

Boeing Finance Shared Services has a broad portfolio of programs and customers, both domestic and international. As a member of the Estimating team supporting Boeing Global Services (BGS), the successful candidate will support internal and external pricing and proposal activity, gaining broader experience and visibility.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to proactively apply problem solving skills and work well independently, and as part of a team. They will have the ability to learn new systems & tools, estimating techniques, and gain program knowledge in a dynamic environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program

  • Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices

  • Evaluates requests for proposals, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals

  • Develops estimating and pricing methods

  • Evaluates and develops business cases

  • Performs analysis and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Develops and maintains pricing models

  • Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

  • 3+ years of experience in Estimating and Pricing

  • Experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience coordinating with external customers and across multiple functions including Finance, Supplier Management, and technical disciplines

  • Experience demonstrating analytical or estimating capabilities

  • Experience with time management skills to meet tight schedules with first time quality

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $102,600 - $125,400
