The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the team in Seal Beach, CA or El Segundo, CA

Join our IT Product Support Government & Tech Operations contract direct team, where we deliver innovative software solutions that enable rapid access and visual transformation of complex engineering and manufacturing product data for the BDS Contract Direct Product Support organization.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to develop and integrate a variety of Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) and in-house software applications that support our BDS Satellite and Intelligent Systems (S&IS) customers. Position Responsibilities:

  • Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications

  • Gathers and evaluates end user requirements

  • Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements

  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

  • Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems

  • Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements

  • Address IT Compliance items by performing application scans for security requirements

  • Partner with senior team member on application server setup when needed

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or agreed to enter a Continuous Vetting program such that 5 year updates are no longer required

  • 5+ years of experience with developing software with application integration and system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools

  • 5+ years of experience with Relational Databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, Teradata

  • 4+ years of experience with software development in .net technologies and web service technologies and client side technologies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Current Comp TIA certificate or ability to obtain post-start

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint development and administration

  • 3+ years of experience with ColdFusion

  • 3+ years of experience with AGILE

  • 3+ years of experience with configuration management

  • 3+ years of experience with Software Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with application server

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $121,550 – $164,450
