The Boeing Company’s Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) is currently seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Lead to support the Technology Governance program in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; or North Charleston, SC

Join our Technology Governance Program, where we ensure centralized and consistent oversight of technology assets across all business units, subsidiaries, and geographies. Our program enhances enterprise risk posture, improves visibility into technology assets, and empowers us to define, measure, report, and manage technology risk effectively.

We are looking for an OT Lead to support the Operational Technology workstream, focusing on tooling design and implementation, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder engagement, system integration, and process development. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, along with a collaborative and strategic mindset. Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complex customer engagements across factories, labs, and facilities environments, acting as an advisor on advanced technical solutions and processes pertaining to OT tech governance

  • Oversee creation and managed approval of business cases and product plans 

  • Manage development, resource allocation and scheduling for product deployments

  • Consult on plans for entry of new products in OT environments, including value propositions and analysis of customer processes 

  • Work closely with partner organizations to develop scalable OT product solutions, including strategies and roadmaps 

  • Lead the development and implementation of scalable solutions, including system integrations and process development

  • Maintain a strong understanding of OT asset management principles and their applicability within Boeing environments, including the production processes they support

  • Work together with business stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of Tech Governance tools and processes to support oversight of operational technology

  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize and improve governance and oversight activities in support of downstream processes

  • Interface with and effectively present workstream overviews, status, and risks to senior and/or executive leadership

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Operational Technology

  • 5+ years of experience with various IT technologies (e.g. Cloud Computing, Network Architectures, Software Development, Operating Systems, Databases, Financial Applications) and related processes, controls, risks

  • 5+ years of experience with technology development planning and execution in collaboration with government agencies, suppliers and partners

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment

  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Technology Management or Systems Engineering

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with IT Auditing processes and methodologies

  • Experience with IT discovery tools and technology (e.g. Service Now, Workspace 1, etc.)

  • Experience with Operational tools and technology (e.g. Armis, Claroty, Palo Alto, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $151,300 – $218,500
