The ideal candidate is experienced in business continuity and risk management, adept at stakeholder facilitation, and comfortable managing remediation programs at scale.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and drive end-to-end remediation activities for identified business continuity risks across business units, suppliers, and IT services

  • Facilitate leadership and cross-functional remediation meetings (working sessions, steering committees, status reviews) to prioritize actions, resolve escalations, and track closure

  • Translate risk assessments and continuity gap analyses into clear, actionable remediation plans with owners, timelines, and success criteria

  • Maintain a consolidated remediation tracker/dashboard, monitor progress, escalate as needed, and report status and trends to senior leadership

  • Collaborate with Business Continuity, Risk Management, Enterprise Resilience, Security, IT, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure remediation plans align with governance, policy, and contractual obligations

  • Validate and document remediation evidence and closure artifacts, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements

  • Support development and refinement of continuity risk assessment methodologies, remediation playbooks, templates, and operating procedures to increase program consistency and efficiency

  • Help configure and operationalize tools used to track remediation activity and evidence (GRC/TPRM platforms, ticketing systems, dashboards)

  • Assist in supplier remediation activities: negotiate corrective actions with vendors, validate supplier-provided remediation evidence, and escalate unresolved supplier risks

  • Contribute to training and communications for stakeholders on remediation processes, roles, and expectations

  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, applying lessons learned and metrics to reduce recurring continuity gaps and accelerate remediation timelines

  • Periodic travel may be required to meet with business units, suppliers, or attend program meetings

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in business continuity, risk management, enterprise resilience, or a closely related function

  • Experience coordinating and driving remediation programs or corrective action plans across multiple stakeholders and organizational boundaries

  • Experience facilitating leadership and cross-functional meetings to make decisions, manage risk trade-offs, and drive action

  • Experience with business continuity planning, BCM frameworks, business impact analysis (BIA), and recovery strategies

  • Experience maintaining remediation trackers, prepare concise status reporting, and manage multiple concurrent remediation efforts

  • Experience working with third-party suppliers or vendors and tracking supplier remediation activities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Professional certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, CTPRP, CRISC, CISM, or other risk/continuity related credentials

  • Experience with GRC, TPRM, or ticketing platforms used to manage remediation and corrective actions

  • Experience with cybersecurity controls and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-53/800-171, ISO 22301, ISO 27001) as they relate to continuity risk

  • Experience within a large multinational enterprise or highly regulated industry (aerospace, defense, financial services, healthcare)

  • Experience in process design, documentation, and automation to improve remediation workflows

  • Experience with project management or certification (PMP, Agile/Scrum) and comfort working asynchronously across time zones
