The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior System Design and Integration Specialist to join the team in Seattle, WA; Kent, WA; Seal Beach, CA; or Tukwila, WA

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Expert to manage the implementation, integration, and service health of our business continuity data backup system, within our complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of client-server based applications, distributed systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. This role is essential for ensuring business continuity through endpoint data backup and recovery, supporting minimal impact and downtime to business operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment and configuration of endpoint backup client across the enterprise

  • Configure, maintain, and iterate system infrastructure design in coordination with enterprise architects and infrastructure services

  • Provide expert technical support in collaboration with Information technology support teams for application and service-related issues

  • Diagnose and resolve service interruptions

  • Plan and execute client and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to users

  • Integrate and conduct comprehensive testing of new client and server versions ensuring service continuity and availability

  • Engage and partner with application vendor on product improvements, outage recoveries, bug fixes, and system upgrade planning

  • Monitor and address service security vulnerabilities, applying necessary updates or configurations

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.

  • Produce knowledge articles on service scope, application training and instruction, best practices, common questions, and self-help

  • Generate reports on service usage, performance metrics, and upgrade status for management review

  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to disaster recovery and business continuity

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing software for complex systems such as Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications, and Client-server Architecture

  • 5+ years of experience supporting both client and server in a client-server architecture

  • 5+ years of experience developing software for automated solutions

  • 5+ years of experience writing PowerShell or other scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

  • 5+ years of experience of working with data in relational databases and/or cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Certifications related to IT support and infrastructure technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals)

  • Experience with problem-solving

  • Experience communicating both verbally and in writing

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively within a team

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $146,200 – $197,200
