Our Objectives

Boeing Korea Summer Internship program is an exceptional opportunity to start your career with industry experience beyond or based on your academic experience with Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace company. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who have expertise and interest in a specific position’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with the team to collect and preprocess data for analysis.
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to solve complex problems through machine learning.
  • Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Help in the design and optimization of machine learning algorithms.
  • Document and communicate your findings and progress to the team.
  • Research and develop AI/ML models including:
    • Image: classification, (class-agnostic) object detection, semantic segmentation, anomaly detection, Etc
    • Language: Text detection / recognition, document understanding, key information extraction, generative models – LLM, VLM, Etc
    • Tabular/Time series data: Pattern recognition, forecasting, data imputation, Etc
    • Audio: Speech-to-text, text-to-text, noise cancellation, Etc
  • Implementation of prototypes to test new ideas and AI models, or analysis and improvement of the performance of existing AI models, and presentation of results (written report or oral presentation, as appropriate)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate senior or higher (class of 2024) in Computer Science, AI/ML Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • Experience with software implementations
  • Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, frameworks, models, and ensembles
  • Experience with Pytorch, SciKit Learn, Tensorflow, and similar backend frameworks
  • Experience with supervised and unsupervised classification models
  • Experience with decision-making models, such as Reinforcement Learning
  • Experience with prediction models, including time series models and regressors
  • Experience with Generative AI models, including LLMs, VLMs
  • Experience with speech-to-text, text-to-text models
  • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.
  • Good to have at least an intermediate level of knowledge in software engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 기계 학습 모델의 개발, 테스트 및 배포를 지원합니다.
  • 분석을 위해 팀과 협력하여 데이터를 수집하고 전처리합니다.
  • 기계 학습을 통해 복잡한 문제를 해결하기 위한 브레인스토밍 및 아이디어 회의에 참여합니다.
  • 데이터 분석, 특성 공학 및 모델 평가를 수행합니다
  • 기계 학습 알고리즘의 설계 및 최적화를 돕습니다.
  • 팀에 자신의 발견과 진행 상황을 문서화하고 전달합니다.
  • 다음과 같은 AI/ML 모델을 연구하고 개발합니다.
    • 이미지: 분류, (클래스 비종속) 객체 탐지, 의미론적 분할, 이상 탐지 등
    • 언어: 텍스트 탐지/인식, 문서 이해, 주요 정보 추출, 생성 모델 – LLM, VLM 등
    • 표 형식/시계열 데이터: 패턴 인식, 예측, 데이터 보간 등
    • 오디오: 음성 인식, 텍스트 변환, 잡음 제거 등
  • 새로운 아이디어와 AI 모델을 테스트하기 위한 프로토타입을 구현하거나 기존 AI 모델의 성능을 분석하고 개선하며, 결과를 발표합니다 (서면 보고서 또는 구두 발표 등 적절한 형식으로)

Basic Qualifications:

  • 컴퓨터 과학, AI/ML 공학, 소프트웨어 공학, 수학, 물리학 또는 관련 분야의 학부 3학년 이상
  • 소프트웨어 구현 경험
  • AI/ML 기술, 프레임워크, 모델 및 앙상블에 대한 이해
  • Pytorch, SciKit Learn, TensorFlow 및 유사한 백엔드 프레임워크 경험
  • 지도 학습 및 비지도 학습 분류 모델 경험
  • 강화 학습과 같은 의사 결정 모델 경험
  • 시계열 모델 및 회귀 모델을 포함한 예측 모델 경험
  • LLMs, VLMs를 포함한 생성 AI 모델 경험
  • 음성 인식 및 텍스트 변환 모델 경험
  • 기계 학습의 기본 원리와 알고리즘에 대한 강한 이해
  • 데이터 전처리, Feature Engineering 및 데이터 시각화에 대한 이해
  • 소프트웨어 공학에 대한 중급 이상의 지식 선호
