Meet Bo, a systems integration engineer on Boeing’s E-7A Wedgetail program at RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales, Australia.

He studied aeronautical engineering and now works as part of a team that designs and develops the hardware and software used by the Royal Australian Air Force to support the Wedgetail’s missions.

“When I came to Boeing, I quickly learnt that, to be a systems engineer, you don’t necessarily need to have an aeronautical specialty. You can come from aerospace, mechanical, mechatronics, electronics, or software – any of those engineering disciplines will help you fit right in with systems engineering,” said Bo.
