It’s no ordinary 9 to 5 for manufacturing engineer, Lee
Meet Lee, a manufacturing engineer in Boeing’s Melbourne factory who has worked on commercial and defence aircraft, including the first Australian-made autonomous military aircraft, the Boeing Airpower Teaming System (ATS), also known as the MQ28A Ghost Bat.
“In my day-to-day role, I support the production line and it’s our job to make sure the line moves smoothly,” explains Lee. “I’ve been lucky enough to jump across to our ATS program, the first full aircraft to be designed and built in Australia in 50 years, so it’s really exciting.”
