Job Summary:

The Material Review Board (MRB) Coordinator supports Quality by coordinating and driving the timely review, disposition, and closure of nonconforming material. This position manages the MRB queue, facilitates cross-functional MRB meetings, tracks aging nonconformances, and works with Engineering, Supply Chain, Supply Reliability, and Receiving Inspection to remove

roadblocks and maintain material flow. The MRB Coordinator owns the coordination and follow through of the MRB process while technical dispositions remain the responsibility of authorized Engineering, Quality, or other designated personnel.

This position's internal job is Supplier Reliability Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for levels 3.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage open MRB nonconformances, maintaining visibility of aging, stagnant, priority, and production impacting items requiring action

  • Lead recurring MRB meetings with Buyers, Planners, Supply Reliability Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Receiving Inspection to review status, determine next actions, and establish ownership

  • Drive nonconformances toward timely disposition and closure by actively following up with responsible action owners and identifying issues preventing progress

  • Review workflow and reassign or route nonconformances to the appropriate responsible individual or organization when technical review, supplier action, or additional ownership is required

  • Verify nonconformance records are complete and ready for review, including clear problem descriptions, affected part or lot information, supporting documentation, and required attachments

  • Track MRB action items, due dates, dispositions, supplier responses, and outstanding requirements to ensure actions are completed and properly documented

  • Identify and escalate aging, stagnant, or high priority nonconformances that may impact production schedules, material availability, or program commitments

  • Coordinate with Buyers, Supply Reliability, and suppliers to obtain missing or corrected

  • Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, special process certifications, FAIRs, and other required documentation

  • Route received supplier documentation to the appropriate Quality or Inspection personell for technical review and validation

  • Follow up until documentation related nonconformances have been resolved

  • Coordinate containment and material status with Receiving Inspection and Quality Engineering, ensuring affected material is properly identified, segregated, and accounted for while awaiting disposition

  • Coordinate execution of approved dispositions such as rework, Return to Vendor (RTV), replacement, scrap, or return to inspection, ensuring actions are routed to the appropriate organization

  • Perform final coordination checks prior to nonconformance closure to ensure required disposition actions, supporting documentation, inspector verification, and applicable approvals have been completed.

  • Maintain accurate MRB status, aging, action, and closure metrics and provide routine updates to Quality leadership

  • Support continuous improvement and standardization of MRB processes, including workflows, dashboards, trackers, and escalation processes to reduce nonconformance cycle time and improve material flow.

  • Support internal and external audits and quality reviews by providing accurate nonconformance status, records, and supporting documentation.

  • Other job duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 4+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Receiving Inspection, Quality Manufacturing, or a related aerospace/manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and control of nonconforming material

  • Experience with ERP, QMS, MES, or electronic nonconformance management systems

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Aerospace Quality Receiving Inspection, Supplier Quality, or MRB experience

  • Experience coordinating activities across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and suppliers

  • Working knowledge of nonconformance and Material Review Board processes

  • Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements

  • Experience reviewing Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, special process certifications, FAIRs, and other supplier documentation.

  • ASQ certification or related quality training.

Summary pay range:

  • Level 3: $106,250 - $156,250

Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
