Boeing’s Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization is seeking an experienced Senior Lean Practitioner to join our Projects Assets Construction & Engineering (PACE) Operational Excellence Team. As a Lean Practitioner, you will support and operationalize Lean initiatives and AI enablement efforts.

The successful candidate will instruct and mentor others in continuous improvement tools, principles, and techniques, while developing and updating instructional materials and playbooks. They will collaborate within PACE to lead complex process improvement efforts, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and help develop, enhance, and deploy Lean tools, AI enablement efforts, and other process improvement best practices.

This position can be based in any of the following locations: Arlington, VA; Auburn, WA; Bellevue, WA;  Colorado Springs, CO; El Segundo, CA, Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Oklahoma City, OK; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; Seal Beach, CA; Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Connect Lean principles, strategy, and execution to drive measurable results and continuous improvement

  • Mature the Seek, Speak, Listen closed-loop process and apply data analytics to daily Lean priorities

  • Develop and deploy systematic approaches to capture, replicate, and standardize innovations and best practices

  • Represent Lean/continuous improvement in program reviews and strategic planning

  • Lead and facilitate complex, high-visibility process improvement efforts

  • Guide the effective application and integration of Lean across the enterprise

  • Develop integrated Lean strategy and support strategic deployment

  • Improve and standardize enterprise policies, procedures, and operating practices

  • Assess business capability and capacity to support improvement efforts

  • Train and instruct others in continuous improvement tools and principles

  • Develop, update, and tailor instructional materials for different audiences

  • Identify and apply new tools and techniques to strengthen Lean practice

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience implementing Lean principles, to include identifying opportunities and making recommendations for value stream improvements that resulted in improved business position through culture transformation

  • 5+ years of experience planning and facilitating Lean+ workshops (e.g., BPSM /AIW / 3P / Kaizen / VSM, Process Mapping, AIW, DK)

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, including the ability to integrate AI-driven insights into data architecture and analytics processes

  • Experience researching and applying large language and generative AI models

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Project management certification

  • Experience with business case development, stakeholder alignment, benefits capture, institutionalization, and continuous improvements

Summary Pay Range: $104,550 - $162,150
