The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Developer to join the team in Hazelwood, MO.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of securing and advancing Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s mission-critical cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you will be a key driver in the design, development, and operation of Boeing’s Classified Cloud Platforms, ensuring they meet the most stringent security and compliance standards. Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, deployment, and sustainment of cloud infrastructure, services and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and Customer teams to architect and implement secure cloud solutions aligned with defense requirements
  • Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, security controls, and best practices aligned with government and industry standards
  • Drive automation and CI/CD practices to accelerate delivery and improve platform reliability
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and customer focus
  • Influence strategic planning and roadmap development
  • Support continuous monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery planning

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and services with Azure or Amazon Web Services

  • 3+ years of experience writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform

  • 3+ years of experience writing and implementing Configuration as Code (CaC) with Ansible, Python, or Bourne Again Shell

  • 3+ years of experience with containerization and Kubernetes (e.g., Elastic Kubernetes Service, Azure Kubernetes Service)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance

  • Experience with Policy As Code

  • Experience working with security frameworks and standards such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG) , Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)

  • Experience designing, building, and operating Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

  • Experience designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools like  GitLab, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
  • Experience with security and compliance tools such as RSA SecureID, Nessus, Coverity, or SonarQube
  • Experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Administration

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $136,850 – $185,150
